This Chocolate Skor Trifle is a rich and festive Denomey Christmas tradition. It has chocolate cake, creamy pudding, whipped cream, and the irresistible crunch of Skor bars and toffee bits.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups chocolate pudding
- 1 cup whipped cream
- 1 cup crushed Skor bars
- 1 cup chocolate cake, crumbled
- 1/2 cup chocolate syrup
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts optional
- 1/4 cup toffee bits
Instructions:
In a trifle dish, layer half of the crumbled chocolate cake at the bottom
Pour half of the chocolate pudding over the cake layer
Spread half of the whipped cream over the pudding layer
Sprinkle half of the crushed Skor bars, chopped nuts if using, and toffee bits over the whipped cream
Drizzle half of the chocolate syrup on top of the layers
Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients
Refrigerate the trifle for at least 2 hours before serving to allow flavors to meld
Garnish with additional whipped cream, Skor bits, and nuts before serving if desired
