Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 hamburger buns
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese
- 1 cup sliced peaches
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tablespoons red onion, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Lettuce leaves for garnish
- Sliced red onion for garnish
Instructions:
Warm up the grill over medium-high heat
Put the sliced peaches, brown sugar, and water in a small saucepan
It will take about 10 minutes of cooking over medium heat until the peaches are soft and the mixture is thick
Leave to cool
Cut up the red onion and mix it with the cilantro, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and Worcestershire sauce in a bowl to make a unique sauce
Put away
Shape the ground beef into 4 burger patties that are all the same size
Add salt and pepper to both sides
For medium-rare, grill the burger patties for about 4 to 5 minutes on each side
If you like your burgers more done, cook them longer
Add a slice of cheddar cheese to each patty and let it melt in the last minute of cooking
Toast the hamburger buns on the grill until they are golden brown while the burgers are cooking
Spread a lot of the special sauce on the bottom half of each bun before putting the burgers together
Cover the sauce with a lettuce leaf
On each bun, put a cooked burger patty with melted cheese
Then, add a spoonful of peach compote and a few red onion slices
Put the other half of the toasted bun on top of each burger
