Grilled Pineapple Pork Sandwich



This Grilled Pineapple Pork Sandwich has both sweet and sour flavors from the pineapple and the pork chops that have been grilled. Together with the teriyaki mayo and Swiss cheese, it tastes like a tropical paradise in a bun. Add some chips to the side for a whole meal!

Ingredients:

  • 4 pork loin chops
  • 4 pineapple slices
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 lettuce leaves
  • 4 slices of Swiss cheese
  • Chips for serving

Instructions:

Preheat grill to medium-high heat

Season pork chops with salt, pepper, and olive oil

Grill pork chops for 4-5 minutes per side or until cooked through

In the last minute of grilling, place a pineapple slice on each pork chop and grill until slightly caramelized

While the pork chops are grilling, mix teriyaki sauce and mayonnaise in a small bowl

Toast hamburger buns on the grill for a minute or until lightly browned

Assemble the sandwiches by spreading the teriyaki mayo on the bottom bun, adding a lettuce leaf, grilled pork chop with pineapple, a slice of Swiss cheese, and the top bun

Serve the Grilled Pineapple Pork Sandwiches on a plate with chips
